Three men were arrested early today in Downey, where they burglarized a vehicle, police said.
Around 1:30 a.m., a Downey resident witnessed her neighbor’s vehicle being burglarized in the 12600 block of Eastbrook Avenue, said Downey police.
Officers immediately responded and caught the burglary suspects as they attempted to flee the area in their vehicle, police said. The three suspects, all residents of Baldwin Park, were found in possession of items they stole from the victim’s vehicle, police said.
Further investigation revealed the suspects had earlier burglarized another vehicle in Bellflower and still had that victim’s property in their possession, police said.
Officers were able to return the stolen property to both victims and the three men were all booked on suspicion of felony burglary, police said.
