NORWALK (CNS) – The coroner’s office today identified a 36-year-old man who was found dead in a van in Norwalk. An autopsy is pending to pinpoint the cause of Eric Hector Sarabia’s death, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
His city of residence was not immediately available.
Deputies dispatched about 3:50 p. m. Tuesday to the 13900 block of Flatbush Avenue, near Rosecrans Avenue, found Sarabia dead inside a white van parked along a curb, said Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives were investigating his death. It’s unclear how long the body was in the van, which was not registered to Sarabia, Lt. Steve Jauch told the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. He said Sarabia suffered trauma to his face and head.
