Went by police station today, but no info. on Friday’s shooting

I went by the Downey Police Station today, but I couldn’t scare up any new information on Friday’s shooting of a 2-year-old girl and her 20-year-old dad.

The girl and her father were in front of an apartment complex Telegraph Road and Paramount Boulevard.

The police log had an entry of “shots fired” on the 8200 block of Telegraph at 4:27 on Friday, but there was no other information to work off of, such as arrests or any other related calls.

I saw police take one man into custody on Friday. He was wearing a Dodgers hat and big, baggy light-blue shorts. I know police were looking for three other guys.

The police arrest records didn’t show any shooting-related arrests on Saturday, but they did show an obstruction of justice arrest. So maybe somebody is lying and hiding these other three people.

I called the Downey Police detective a bunch of times, but they haven’t been in the office. Most likely they’re out working the case. Hopefully I’ll have some more information in the morning.
