DOWNEY – Police are looking for members of an area tagging crew suspected of a street fight that left one young man with a stab wound.

The stabbing on Aug. 12 started after people in a car yelled at two men walking near Priscilla Street and Brock Avenue, according to Downey Police Lt. Dean Milligan.

The pedestrians yelled back, the car turned around and one of the young men was stabbed, Milligan said.

The stabbing wound wasn’t serious, and the two men called police afterward.

As far as police know, the two pedestrians were not in a tagging crew. The men in the car probably were, Milligan said.
