Attorney Ricardo Perez has pulled papers to run for the District 5 at-large City Council seat.
So far, Perez, attorney and real estate broker Alex Saab, former professional baseball player Gabriel Orozco, and former Bell Gardens Councilman Sal Franco are vying for the at-large seat.
The seat is held by Councilman Luis Marquez, who has decided to run for re-election in District 1.
The deadline to apply for City Council is Friday.
