Reader: Man following female joggers
This came from a reader, who said a creep followed her and her sister:
I have news on an attempted abduction. A man tried to abduct my sister off the street. She was jogging on vista del rosa when he pulled along side of her and motioned for her to get into his car. She said the car had followed her down another street but drove off in another direction so she didn’t take any notice of it, but when she turned the corner the man was waiting for her. He is in his late 20s, with brown hair, and brown eyes. From my sister’s descriptions he seemed like the same guy who actually followed me home earlier this week. The man is using different cars. When he followed me home he was in a red van, when he followed my sister he was in a silver car. When we called to make a report to the cops they said that they got a call concerning some one following them as well. It might have been the same guy but we didn’t hear a description of him. This is rather disturbing for my family and I because we are often comfortable with walking late at night by ourselves without worrying about our safety. I just wanted to get the word out there because a lot of friends of mine jog by themselves late in the evening or early in the morning.
