The crews moving the mock-up space shuttle are a few hours behind schedule. The noon ceremony by the city will still take place, but the first parts of the shuttle won’t be out until about 1 p.m.
Unless your kids can hang in a bounce house for three hours, it’s probably better to come a little late.
The mock-up, built in the 1970s, was first built as a marketing tool by Rockwell and then became a design tool for outfitting the real shuttles.
