Shuttle mock-up meeting today at City Hall

DOWNEY- The Public Works Committee is holding a  meeting at 4 p.m. today, June 21, to discuss the moving of the Downey Space Shuttle mock-up from the old NASA center to the parking lot across from the Columbia Memorial Space Center. Today’s meeting is at City Hall, 11111 Brookshire Ave.

The mock-up was a life size model that engineers and designers used to build the space shuttle.
