Library supporters announce new board

DOWNEY – The group that helps raise money and bring special projects to the library has announced its board for the next year.
The 2012-2013 Board of the Friends of the Downey City Library was installed on Wednesday June 13 at the Downey City Library.
Returning Board Members included: Pat Smith, President; Marilyn Van Dyke, Program Chair; Sharon Macias, Membership Chair; Eunice Hammond, Co-Treasurer; Colette Stallcup, Book Store Director and Kathy Callahan, Publicity.
New Board Members installed were: Alison Stafford, Fundraising; Steve Perez, Secretary; Susan Bouris, Co-Treasurer and Leonor Marroquin, Newsletter Editor. Board Members serve a one year term from July through June of the following year.
