Parks commission to set priorities for upgrades

DOWNEY – Anybody interested in the city’s parks can participate in a public hearing Tuesday in which the city’s Recreation and Community Services Commission will rank capital improvement priorities. The commission meets at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 11111 Brookshire Ave.

Art group meeting today to discuss creating a small theater in Downey
