T-storm at the Taste

Just a few hours before the Taste of Downey, a freak thunderstorm is moving toward the city.
South Gate is getting drenched and the storm is headed east, according to news reports.
The National Weather Service predicted a slight chance for thunderstorms during its late morning forecast.

Police are looking for a 36-year-old man accused of having a months-long sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
According to the Downey Police, Enrique Vasquez Rodriguez would sneak off with the girl for sex without the knowledge of her parents. After the girl’s parents found out about the relationship, they called the police.
