Police to unveil memorial to killed officer

[ September 22, 2011; 10:00 am; ] Downey Police are unveiling a memorial to officer Wayne Presley at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22  in front of the  Downey Police Station, 10911 S. Brookshire Ave.

Presley was killed by a drunken driver in 1981 and is the only Downey officer ever killed in the line of duty.
